How to Get Involved
It all begins with learning new skills and joining a creative community. By taking part in this project, you’ll move from idea to finished product while making something meaningful for our community.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Start by taking our Woodshop 101 workshop at the Shuswap Makerspace to build your foundational skills.

• Put those new skills to work by designing and building bird houses.

• Help market the bird house towers in our community and online.

• Take part in packaging and delivering or shipping orders to customers.

• Provide friendly customer service that supports our buyers.

• Educate the public about bird houses and their benefits.

• Get hands-on experience with advanced tools like the CNC router along the way.
